Designer Card for Box in a Card

Yesterday I made 4 cards in a box but since they obviously couldn 't fit into an envelope, I designed a box to put one in.

The completed box has a base and a lid with a cut out area covered with window sheet. The colors used coordinate with the colors of the card.  A ribbon tied around the box keeps the box closed and provides a bit of decoration.  Around the ribbon is a tag.

The card base is Kraft card stock with a 1" piece of DSP attached around its base.
Dimensions of the box:  10.25 by 8.75 inches scored at 2 3/8" all the way around

Dimensions of the lid:  7 1/8 by 8 3/4" scored 1 1/4" all the way around.

Before assembling the box, a rectangular opening was made using the Big Shot and a large rectangular framelit.  If you don't have a framelit, an exacto knife could be use to cut the opening 5/8" from the edges. A 3 3/4 by 5 1/4"piece of Window Sheet was attached to the inside of the lid.

A tag was  made from the remnant left from the notch made in the card for the box.  I added some card stock and DSP on the top, punched a hole in the corner and attached it to the ribbon surrounding the completed box..
Above is the card placed in the box.
