Candy Cane Lane Tags in a Decorated Tin - SUO Challenge #159

The challenge with SUO week is to feature a Holiday Designer Series Papers.  The one I immediately thought of was the Candy Cane Lane DSP as I have used it so much I have had to order a second package.
For this challenge I am going to feature the Christmas tags that I made, and placed in a decorated tin.  I made them for a craft show on Thanksgiving weekend, and they did not stay on my table for very long. I made 4 tins and they all sold, so I had had to make more for my next 3 day show next weekend.

There are 6 tags that are 2 by 4".  The top is punched with the scallop top tag punch. Each tag and the tin feature the Candy Cane Lane DSP. All the tags are placed in a tin that has been decorated to match the tags.

The Tin:
Washi tap was first placed along the edge of the tin to cover up what used to be in the tin.  I like to up cycle as much as possible. Some Crumb Cake cardstock, with the corners rounded, was then adhered to the tin, followed by Candy Cane Lane DSP.  The Ginger Bread houses were 'fussy' cut from the DSP and some liquid applique (non SU) was applied to the roof and chimney top to mimic snow (it was heat set to make it puffy).  Along the left side a strip of red glimmer paper was adhered.  A bow was made using using the bow builder punch and another pattern of the DSP.
A retired embellishment was adhered to the top left of the tin.

The Tags:
The base of this 2 by 4" tag is Crumb Card stock, layered with Whisper White and then Candy Cane Lane DSP.  A piece of red glimmer paper was placed over both these layers.Another Ginger bread house was cut out of the DSP, liquid applique applied to the roof and chimney top, and then adhered to the tag front.  The sentiment, from a retired stamp set) was stamped onto whisper white and matted with Early Espresso card stock.

Some Real Red ribbon was inserted through the slot at the top and tied with gold twine.

Six of these were made.

A small tag, coordinating with the tags inside and the tin decoration is seen below.  It has information on the reverse side as to the contents of the tags/tin and the price.
It is approximately 2 by 2", punched with the same punch as the tags, decorated with Whisper White and Candy Cane Lane DSP and red glimmer paper, and yet another pattern of the DSP is revealed - a ginger bread man - cut out of the DSP as well.  It is placed on a scallop Early Espresso oval.
This tag is attached to the closed tin via gold cording to the Real Red ribbon which has been used keep the tin closed.
