A Token of Love - Hand Stamped Sentiments # 283

I'm sorting my stamps for a Stamp Sale next month and came across this cute little non SU stamp set of a young lad presenting a girl with some flowers for Easter.  It seemed perfect to use with the sketch challenge with Hand Stamped Sentiments here

I used the Stamparatus to stamp this cute little image and then coloured it with Stampin' Blendabilites and watercolor pencils. After trimming this art piece to 2 3/4 by 2 1/2" it was matted with Marina Mist and added it to the card front with dimensionals.

The card base is Marina Mist, layered with Whisper White which has the "dots" from the retired stamp set "Gorgeous Grunge" stamped on it with Marina Mist ink.

On the left side a 1 1/4 by 5 1/4" piece of Sweet Soiree DSP edged on one side with a small strip of Marina Mist was added  to the card front. Some 3/8" silver metallic edge ribbon was attached around this strip and a bow made with this ribbon added at the top of  the art piece.

The Word Window punch was used to punch the sentiment which was matted with some Marina Mist punched with the Modern Word Label punch.

Tiny flowers were added to the art piece with tiny pearls in the center.

I added some glitter to the flowers and ribbon in her hair.
